(1/3) The Global Internet Governance, Digital Empowerment and Security Alliance (GLIDES), a grouping of Civil Society Organizations (CSO), was formally launched during the Civil 20 Technology & Security for One World Summit in May 2023.

(2/3) It was formally launched by Mr. R.N. Ravi, Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu state in India, with a special keynote address on “Connectivity is Everything”, delivered by Dr Vint Cerf, Internet pioneer considered one of the fathers of the Internet.

To wrap up the C20 Technology Summit, Ambassador Abhay Thakur, @AmbAbhayThakur, G20 Sous Sherpa and Additional Secretary, delivered the valedictory speech and enlightened us with his thoughts. He was joined by other esteemed guests in the closing ceremony.
