we are living through some crazy times but this is the best time to be an artist

i am actually a big fan of social media verification being something you have to buy into now. i'm aware that's what it was all along but now there's a new idea of what it means to be 'internet famous'

it's now "corny" to have a blue check which was a symbol of status for yearsss like that is actually so crazy. a lot of the creatives i know are pivoting away from this focus on self, and actually fostering community it is so beautiful
