I’m unpicking the pupil premium review process. Asking questions about the role of external evaluations on actual school improvement. What needs to happen to this process so it ignites innovation rather than commands compliance? Ideas? #ethical

I love EYFS. Wonderful afternoon with @c4lschools EYFS team. Ideas factory. My takeaways were ‘In my box’ strategies to add the ‘Thrill’ to routines modelling and learning boxes to enrich home links. A ‘boxy’ afternoon all round. #learningthroughrelationships
Following up Day 1 with a trip to @foxfield Truly inspirational and yet another example of education working through relationships. The children told the story. What a privilege it was to talk with them.
@MrsSLearns @MrTRoach Neil Oliver has a book out that links objects to place. How about an enquiry linked to a fossil find? What can we learn from what lies beneath? Stone Girl Bone Girl- brilliant! Loads of archeology to thrill. Dig up the past to help us shape the future. #whatwillweleavebehind?

EYFS message at tonight’s @c4lschools TeachMeet. “Stand aside for a while and leave room for learning, observe carefully what children do, and then, if you have understood well, perhaps teaching will be different from before.”

Thanks EYFS. #foodforthoughtforall
A year of discussion culminating in the 2019 @c4lschools TeachMeet. Y1 busy unpicking differentiation in @sthelenspri refurbished meeting room. Money for upgrade raised by the children. Thank you children. Your actions made a difference. #courageousadvocacy
TeachMeet 2019. Some exciting strategies shared that develop the teaching and learning of vocabulary. Looking forward to continuing the journey with @TAL_ltd next year and @chrisquigley in February 2020. Taking vocabulary teaching out into the curriculum #excitingtimes
@c4lschools and @TAL_ltd welcomed colleagues from Cadbury Heath to tonight’s TeachMeet. Really looking forward to working together next year. #passingiton
Great to meet with colleagues from @c4lschools tonight as we work together across year groups this year to share ideas, learn from each other and keep improving teaching and learning across the schools.
An inspiring TeachMeet with all @c4lschools, thanks to Vicky Gordon of @TAL_ltd for the inspiring meetings throughout the year. Plenty of inspiration to inspire writing: model texts, 5Es and editing strategies with some Minecraft and pizza thrown in! #passingiton
