Dr Doolla is an acclaimed professor of Energy Sciences at IIT Bombay. An MTech and a PhD from IIT, he has received excellence in teaching award twice. He recently caught a student cheating. The student committed suicide.

Dr Doolla has now been charged under the SC/ST Act.

A situation may arise where we will need SCST teachers for SCST students as other teachers will refuse to teach fearing caste atrocities act any time. Institutions could end up with segregation of caste based classrooms fearing false cases? Very slippery slope. Aren't we moving towards that dangerous ground? #IITB But are we conscious of where we are going? The game of dividing our society has reached dangerous stage.
Step 1- Delete Humanities from STEM institutions.
Step 2- All stakeholders must sit together to find better solutions. Strict laws don't lead to equitable laws. Step 3- Don't believe that reservations is the answer unless it is followed up with better coaching & mentoring to those students so they get empowered . Only reservations is half way house.

@smitadeshmukh @narendramodi All that the professor has done byfault flagging the student is ensuring other students are not at a disadvantage. It is ensuring all students have equal rights. This targetting of professor is misuse of law .

AFZAL KHAN CAME TO TULJAPUR.

He smashed the idol of Tulja Bhavani, kuladevi of the Bhonsles. Sri Bhavani was broken into pieces, thrown into a hand-mill and pounded into dust. A cow was slaughtered in front of the temple.

He was dead within weeks at Pratapgad.

THE TEMPLE WAS RESTORED.
