Unfortunately the Quarry 2 wildfire is still burning right next to Krome Avenue which is why the road closure is still in place. Current acreage is around 17,200!

Couldn’t agree more. I’ve heard a lot of recent grads say things like “I’ve sent out 100 resumes and haven’t heard anything back.” And when I ask how many of those businesses did they contact in person, the answer is almost always zero. Some old school techniques are still applicable today. When I was young and looking for work, I would always drop the resume off in person, talk to someone there, and then follow up with a phone call later.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and @FLForestService are responding to a grass fire near Northwest 137th Avenue and Northwest 25th Street. Smoke may be visible in the area as a result of the fire. Those with respiratory conditions are advised to stay indoors and recirculate the air in their homes and vehicles using air conditioning.

@NASCAR I would like to submit a proposed rule change for next season: If there is a restart within 5 laps of the end of a stage, they should keep racing through the end of the stage. Seems silly when there are a bunch of cautions to throw another one after just a few laps.
