One of my few complaints about San Diego (and California in general) is that stores don’t have seltzer water readily available like they do on the East Coast….

Talking about our favorite superheroes at work bc SD Comic Con is coming up, I said “Wonderwoman” and one of my employees said “I’m going to dress as my superhero, I’ll wear @hoka and say ‘it’s a Great Day at Starbucks’”to all our customers…that’s me, she said I’m her hero!!
Just got stopped on the street by someone asking me if I’m a runner. I said “excuse me?” And he repeated himself. I said I was and he pointed to my legs and said “those are nice.”
The chronicles of San Diego apartment shopping. Many places have carpet, which is gross, and many have an outdoor space, which the person giving the tour always says “this is a great space for storage, or your surf board.”
The last two times I went to Chicago I got a Ventra Card for public transportation and saved them both so I wouldn’t have to get another. Since 2016 I’ve held onto the cards, now that I’m on my way to Chicago I realize I left the cards at home……
