A mother intentionally crashed her car on I-5, then pulled a knife on her own 9- and 15-year-old daughters.

Three soldiers who stopped for the wreck jumped in, disarmed her, and saved the girls.

Sgt. 1st Class Jeff Hytower: “I just jumped up. That’s when the training kicks in.”

They pinned her down until troopers arrived.
Both girls are expected to recover.

These soldiers are literal heroes.
