I hold myself back a lot, but I want to create. I wasn’t super into watching #UnusAnnus but in the end it still made an impact. It came at a time of transition for me, and it’s pushing me forward. Thank you for that. I’m creating, finally. #MementoMori
@CM320DClass #obsidian is actually just molten rock that cooled/hardened so quickly that it ended up smooth and glassy, hence why it's also called volcanic glass!
@CM320DClass If you're looking to start a #crystal collection but don't have much cash, look for pieces that are raw, polished, or tumbled rather than cut -- cut pieces (like what you see in jewelry) are going to be way more expensive.
@CM320DClass #didyouknow that most citrine is just amethyst that's been heated to turn a bright yellow color? Natural citrine is actually a much darker, smokier color!
@CM320DClass Rock friends! Be wary of anyone selling white #turquoise... real white turquoise is EXTREMELY rare, and chances are they're just selling howlite.
@CM320DClass crystal collecting doesn't have to be expensive -- I'm a broke college student and I've managed to get over 100 pieces in my collection over the years! It's about finding those #deals
@CM320DClass the answer to the quiz question: amethyst gets its name from the ancient Greeks, and it means "not drunk." People thought carrying it around had a sobering effect, and would keep you from getting drunk when you were having a night out on the town!
@CM320DClass Speaking of video game gemstones, anyone played #horizonzerodawn? Personally I think that if the Carja had a tribal gem, it'd be bloodstone, aka heliotrope.
