That is not the case.
We have an obligation to fight for and to protect the Glory of Christ Himself"

Today, July 23, the Church celebrates the feast day of St. Bridget of Sweden. Bridget received visions of Christ’s suffering many times throughout her life, and went on to found the order of the Most Holy Savior(Bridgettines),Monks and Nuns.
When she was only ten, it is recorded that she had a vision of Jesus on the cross and heard him say, “Look at me, my daughter."
"Who has treated you like this?" cried little Bridget.
Jesus answered, "Those who despise me and refuse my love for them.” From that moment on, Bridget tried to stop people from offending Jesus.
When she was 14, Bridget married an 18-year old man named Ulf. Like Bridget, Ulf had set his heart on serving God. They had eight children, of whom one was St. Catherine of Sweden.
All her life, Bridget had marvelous visions and received special messages from God. In obedience to them, she visited many rulers and important people in the Church. She explained humbly what God expected of them.
After her husband of 20 years died, Bridget put away her rich clothes and lived as a poor nun.
Jesus continued to reveal many secrets to her, which she
received without the least bit of pride.
She was proclaimed a saint by Pope Boniface IX in 1391.
St. Bridget of Sweden was a Mystic.
She is also the patron saint of Sweden, Europe. Also invoked as a patron of difficult marriages, widows, perceived failures, and mothers who have suffered the loss of a child!
Notice the three privileges given to Mary Magdalene:
First, she had the privilege of being a prophet because she was worthy enough to see the angels, for a prophet is an intermediary between angels and the people.
Secondly, she had the dignity or rank of an angel insofar as she looked upon Christ, on whom the angels desire to look.
Thirdly, she had the office of an apostle; indeed, she was an apostle to the apostles insofar as it was her task to announce our Lord's resurrection to the disciples. Thus, just as it was a woman who was the fist to announce the words of death, so it was a woman who would be the first to announce the words of life (Commentary on John 20).
Saint Rita endured great suffering in her own life (difficult marriage, loss of family, illness) yet obtained extraordinary graces through persistent, humble prayer. May she intercede for you powerfully in your time of need.
Miracle Prayer to Saint Rita (for Impossible Cases)
O glorious St. Rita,
your pleadings before the divine crucifix have been known to grant favors that many would call impossible. Lovely St. Rita, so humble, so pure, so devoted in your love for thy Crucified Jesus,
speak on my behalf for my petition which seems so impossible from my humbled position. (Here silently or aloud mention your specific request or need.) Be propitious, O glorious St. Rita, to my petition,
showing thy power with God on behalf of thy suppliant. Be lavish to me, as thou hast been in so many wonderful cases,
for the greater glory of God. I promise, dear St. Rita,
if my petition is granted,
to glorify thee by making known thy favor,
to bless and sing thy praises forever. Relying then upon thy merits and power before the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Saint Rita, Patroness of Impossible Cases, pray for us!
Dear Heart of Jesus,
in the past, I have asked for many favors.
This time I ask for a very special one. (Here mention your request.)
Take it, dear Jesus, and place it within your own heart, where your Father sees it. Then, in his merciful eyes, it will become your favor and not mine. Amen.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
"Whom have I to thank, that the earth has not engulfed me? That heaven has not annihilated me with a thunderbolt? That fire has not burned me to ashes? That water has not drowned me? Whom have I to thank for it but the Lover of my soul! Whose mercy is above all His works" - St. Augustine
THE GOLDEN ARROW PRAYER
MAY THE MOST HOLY, MOST SACRED, MOST ADORABLE, MOST INCOMPREHENSIBLE AND UNUTTERABLE NAME OF GOD BE ALWAYS PRAISED, BLESSED, LOVED, ADORED AND GLORIFIED, IN HEAVEN, ON EARTH AND UNDER THE EARTH, BY ALL THE CREATURES OF GOD, AND BY THE SACRED HEART OF OUR…
"At every Mass, heaven is opened, the angels descend in adoration, and graces flow in abundance upon the Church and upon the entire world. No one can measure the immense benefits that come from a single Mass." - St. Lawrence of Brindisi
A Prayer to Saint Anthony
Beloved Saint Anthony,
faithful servant of God and gentle friend of those in need,
I come before you with trust and place my burden in your care.
You are known for helping those who have lost what is precious—
not only possessions, but also peace, direction, hope, and faith.
Please intercede for me before Jesus
and present to Him the need I now carry in my heart:
Mention your petition here.
Saint Anthony, help me find what has been lost,
restore what can be healed,
and guide me toward the answer God desires for me.
When I feel confused, give me clarity.
When I feel discouraged, strengthen my hope.
When I am afraid, remind me that God is near
and that no sincere prayer is ever wasted.
Ask the Lord to open the right doors,
to protect me from what is not meant for me,
and to lead me with wisdom, mercy, and peace.
Saint Anthony, remain close to me while I wait.
Help me trust in God’s timing
and surrender this need to His perfect will.
Through your loving intercession,
may I receive the grace I seek
and grow closer to Jesus in the process.
Saint Anthony, pray for me and for all who are in need.
Amen.
Lord Jesus,
like the woman suffering for many years,
I come to You in the crowd of my worries and pains.
With faith, I reach out to touch the hem of Your garment. Heal what is broken in me, body, mind, and soul.
Let Your power flow into my life.
Say to me as You said to her:
“Daughter/Son, your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”
Amen.
