It's a good day to share this...
"The Judgment will be essential reading for journalists seeking to rely on a public interest defence, and underlines the importance of engaging meaningfully with pre-publication enquiries."

Groundbreaking case! Court ruled that the Sunday Mail defamed two experts (MD & PhD) who made claims that satins cause harm. The Mail was forced to issue an apology.
This means that UK media will need to be far more wary of writing one-sided 'hit' articles in the future.
The Mail not only gave a one-sided account, it took a harsh quote by the UK health minister out of context and pretended it applied to these experts--when he was talking about something entirely different. The article was prominently placed over several pages.
Congrats to @zoeharcombe and @malcolmken for this win. They dared to take on a media giant and stuck with the case for 5 years.
@shellenberger@mtaibbi@DrJBhattacharya
Such fortitude to fight this through the courts for 5 years. Journalists should not be allowed to fabricate stories and those that do should be held to account.
Harcombe/Kendrick vs Associated Newspapers...
I'm delighted to say it's finally over!
5.5 years after the articles were published, they are down and an apology has been made.
Thank you SO much to everyone who made this even possible - especially Claire & Dominic at Carter-Ruck and Adrienne & Godwin at 5RB🙏🍾
UK firm GSK to pay $2.2bn over Zantac cancer claims At one time it was the world's best-selling drug, with annual sales topping $1bn. An example of why caution is needed with new drugs It can take 10-15 years to be sure of longer term risks @rcgp https://t.co/ZtKaGJfDcV
Really interesting Nick, thanks 4 sharing Kalei's run. Did you follow what we did in 2020: 100 miles running over 5 days completely fasted. Keto adapted beforehand of course. Worked for us and proved carbohydrate fuelling is not a requirement but a choice

@lowcarbGP@FatEmperor @drlfarrell @FrancisFinucane @TaraKellyRD Welcome to my
Home! I worked first5 years in Limerick after graduating. Defined my work ethos for rest of my career. Great people there. Enjoy it.
@furniss_jon Why go for something cheap sustainable effective, when you can go for something that will push the can down the road , cost 20-30 times more and sets us up for a frailty storm in 15 years, when it will be someone else’s problem. #quality
@FlogasIreland nice customer service. Having switched provider (bills have plummeted!) given the final reading and settled. We then receive this as first contact post new supplier who has very nice. This says a lot about the organisations culture.
Love to talk to your CEO.
I made this video for my non-farming friends
