Woke up early for the eclipse. The moon was low in the sky, trying to hide behind the trees, so we drove up to our church to see it. Glen Mar is the highest point in the area, so its views are great. I got this picture of the moon with the cross out front.

My latest little project - guitar hangers. Made of Hickory with Cherry accents with velvet padding. I hung them on the wall in my office, so now I have easier access to my guitars whenever I want to play.

@zcutlip Thanks. That’s helpful. For uses I care about (displaying graphics in church or live performances), that sounds not so OK. A shame, since the M1 mini would be great for these uses otherwise.

@zcutlip If I just wanted to drive 2 or 3 1080p projectors, would you say DisplayLink on Apple Silicon was viable? Or is it still a bad idea?

@AputureLighting If I update the firmware on my Amaran 100D, will it always be in constant fan mode, or will I get an option to choose between smart/auto and constant fan? I’d hate to lose smart/auto fan mode.
