'KUNG AYAW 'NYO PUMALAKPAK, BUKAS IPA-TOKHANG KO KAYO SA PULIS'
Sen. Bong Go expressed confusion about why former President Rodrigo Duterte is now facing criticism and isolation amid the ongoing House Quad Committee hearings on Duterte's bloody war on drugs.
In a media interview on October 14, Go highlighted that during Duterte's State of the Nation Addresses (SONAs) from 2016 to 2021, Congress and the Senate would applaud and give standing ovations whenever the war on drugs was mentioned.
It can be recalled that Duterte's allies humorously referenced his bloody war on drugs.
During a rally in Calamba City, Laguna, on March 9, 2019, then-senatorial candidate Bato Dela Rosa joked that audience members who did not applaud him might face "tokhang," referring to the police anti-drug operation he led as Duterte's first Philippine National Police (PNP) chief.
BOBO ka talaga Blengbong! Hindi naman yan ang main purpose ng K-12. Hindi ako educator but i believe every curriculum change should aim for a “better education” for those affected.
Today, let us remember the heroism of the people who showed its power in Feb 1986. Let us remember the martyrs who made People Power possible.
