#OurPromise to take care of our fallen's graves and legacy has remained a constant testament to the sacrifice all our service members who paid the ultimate price, whether they rest in known or unknown graves.

On International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, we remember those who perished before and after our service members could liberate them. Our WWII cemeteries in Europe are a testament to all that we were fighting for.

Out of the unique bonds that have formed between our cemeteries and their local communities came our "Faces Of" (Cambridge, Margraten, Suresnes...) events. During several days, photos of service members are placed next to their graves so that visitors can put a face to a name.

Fall is a busy season at ABMC. 📸 For our gardeners are Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, mowing the grass and cleaning road borders are some of the tasks they do on a weekly basis to ensure that the cemetery grounds are impeccable all year round in honor of our fallen heroes.

Today we honor @USArmy Pvt. John Cooper, previously interred as an unknown at ABMC's Luxembourg American Cemetery. Cooper was presumed dead in 1946, and will be laid to rest today at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Arkansas.

On Day Six of #DigWaterloo22, we welcomed some of our biggest supporters! The group went on a tour of our Mont-Saint-Jean farm site to see first-hand how their support allows our work to continue, and learn more about archaeology, welfare and metal detecting!
