Part 2: I will tell the story of each of these girls another day.
They are some of the finest mathematicians Nigeria has ever produced.
From the history of Nigeria participating in PAMO since 2005, we have only managed to get Bronze medals at different years.
These girls right here are capable of surpassing that this year. In a couple of hours, I will come with receipts once the results are announced.
Excited for whats to come.@SpecialMaths is doing a great job transforming these raw talents to international champions.
I promised to come with receipts, this is an excitement I cant contain. Years of hard work, investing in these kids is paying off hugely.
We have just broken 20 year long record in the just concluded Pan African Maths Olympiad, 2026, in Ivory Coast.
Nigeria won 3 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal.
Silver:
Chimfumnanya Aghaduno of Penny International School, now studying at African Olympiad Academy
Damaris Oyerinde of Ambassadors College,Ota
Luis Lu of Nigerian Tulips International College, Abuja
Bronze:
Ikenna Enwere of BrightSun. By the way, he got the second highest score (370) in Jamb this year, amazing talent.
This is the first time Nigeria has a female student that secures Silver medal at PAMO making Chimfumnanya the first Nigerian female with the highest score at PAMO ever.
This also means this is the first time we have 2 girls securing Silver medals from Nigeria.
This is a huge win for Nigeria and testament to the investment @SpecialMaths had made on these kids in the last couple of years.
Moment like this brings pure joy, we remain resolve that every child that enters our doors would leave a champion.
Big congratulations to the students, parents, schools for your continual cooperation.
Our students took on the challenge this year to represent Nigeria at Pan African Maths Olympiad, 2026 held in Ivory Coast. 18 years ago I spent a gruelling 9 hours solving some of the most difficult problems I have ever seen in my life. These students have already surpassed what I ever did while competing in secondary school. I am super proud of them. Today is the closing ceremony of this contest and we look forward to making history at this year’s outing. Special shoutout to @SpecialMaths instructors @Mmesomachi1 who spends crazy hours working with these kids. Watch out for the results today.
@agyeitah For this reason I’m going to do my research using this. If it agrees with your findings, I will be happy to let go of my resentment for the performance of African teams.
@Kwamefrempong4@agyeitah@garyalsmith If you watched any of the world cup matches he quoted, you’d know that the experience was far nuanced than what his data brings.
@MGM_BLVCK@agyeitah It’s educational but it lacks the roundness of experience. Data alone makes it seem plausible but it isn’t. Nigeria had a great run in 1994, 1998, and then carelessly lost to Denmark. Senegal in 2002, Ghana in 2010.
@kaseniGhana@efoavugah@agyeitah@garyalsmith The writeup is what happens when you rely on data alone. Nigeria beat Bulgaria and Greece in 1994 and if you watched the game against Italy, you will know they needlessly lost the match. In 1998 it was the same great run in the group stage then Denmark thrashed them.
Every developed nation first became an education superpower before becoming an economic superpower.
Education is not another sector.
Education is the operating system of a nation.
Everything else runs on it.
Egejurum Munachimso is ready for tomorrow’s Math competition at the International STEM Olympiad Grand Finale, Rome.
He will be representing us in the Primary category.
He is very confident that he might get a perfect score.
The coding competition has started for the International STEM Olympiad Grand Finale in Rome, Italy.
It’s beautiful to see bright minds challenge themselves.
Next year we will have our children compete in the coding competition as well.
This math teacher, Anthony Iwegbu, walked up to me today to tell me that he is the first in his lineage to have gone abroad. He said that bringing him to Rome, all expenses paid, will change his life forever as a teacher.
At first I didn’t believe it, but I’m happy that his effort as a teacher has made that possible for him.
I really love to see our teachers excel. They have been neglected for so long.
This is Master Chisom Unachukwu. His students won first, second, and third positions at the 2026 South East Maths Olympiad.
He will be going to Rome today, all expenses paid by me, to watch his students challenge bright students from 154 other countries at the International STEM Olympiad.
There is hardly any competition he attends in the country where his students don’t win top 3 prizes. He has won every competition he attends in Nigeria.
He studied mathematics at UNILAG.
I’m rewarding his efforts and those of other teachers. The reward of teachers is here on earth too.
This is just the beginning, and the world will know him.
I have created a new device that can track anything anywhere in the world…
The name of the device is Smart AI Tracking System, it uses GPS, SIM, and AI technology
It is placed in children’s bags, cars, or animals so they can be tracked at any time
But that is not where its strength lies….
The AI inside it learns the usual routes, observes distance, and detects any unusual changes
If a child is kidnapped and taken somewhere unfamiliar…
it will activate an alarm
send the location instantly and give a warning that a child has been kidnapped
The same applies to animals like cows
It can detect them in real time if they are stolen or lost
Share it so it can reach everywhere in order to have the opportunity to improve it into a smaller size because its size is large due to the many sensors and modules inside it
Wow 🤩 👏👏
Nigerian 🇳🇬 Southeast Students Chimdiebube Onwubiko, Egejurum Onyedikachi, Don Anele Munachimso and their teachers Head to STEM Olympiad Final in Rome.
Bring the gold 🏆 home 🙌🏾🙌🏾🇳🇬🇳🇬
His name is Egejurum Onyedikachi, and he is a genius.
Let that sink in.
He is in Primary 6 but does wonders with mathematics that make SS3 students tremble.
The world will know him and celebrate him.
He is currently with me in Rome to challenge champions from other countries this Saturday.
This teacher has not left the shores of Nigeria before, but this week he will be going on an all-expenses-paid trip to Rome, Italy, because the student he taught did well at the 2026 South East Maths Olympiad and gave him the opportunity.
It’s always a thing of joy to reward the effort of teachers.
The 3 wise men from the East are set to head to Rome: Chimdiebube Onwubiko, Egejurum Onyedikachi, and Don Anele Munachimso.
Their assignment is simple: bring back the gold.
They will be competing with 154 other countries in Rome, Italy, this week.
Since Nigeria couldn’t qualify for the World Cup, this will be our World Cup.
This JSS 3 boy, Victor Onwubiko, has finished K.A. Stroud’s _Engineering Mathematics_ back to back. He is the best mathematician in the country at the junior secondary level.
He will be competing with students from 154 other countries this week in Rome, Italy, at the fierce International STEM Olympiad competition.
He is a genius, and the world will celebrate him.
This youngster, Don Anele Munachimso Marvelous, was the best Chemistry student in Nigeria in IGCSE. He won the ₦5 million star prize as the best in the 2026 South East Maths Olympiad. He also took first position in the country at the National Mathematics competition in Abuja.
He also won a $100k scholarship in Canada.
He will compete with students from 154 other countries in Rome, Italy, this Saturday.
He is a genius, and the world will know him.
@buchi2xtimes@EkunweL If you agree with the person that posted a 30secs clip culled from a close to 1hr video, I have to say you are one of the Nigerians you referred to in your post.
