@mrtabrett@moving_charlie Interesting, thanks for taking the time to make this! Think the data relating to the 4% +gilt might be skewed by the 2022-2025 ONS HPI data which we know is wonky. Bet if that was removed the R2 would improve a lot.
@moving_charlie@alexgroundwater Similarly, global climate models which exclude human greenhouse gas emissions fail when tested by data/observations. Models which include human greenhouse gas emissions match data/observations well.
@moving_charlie Interestingly there are parallels here with HPIs. You and @alexgroundwater showed that the HPI models (the theory), when tested by observations, were currently inaccurate (your famous 'disrepancy') and should therefore be rejected.
The 2025 @unitedlearning Year 12 Geography study day to Royal Holloway University of London is a go!
The brill @RHULGeography are hosting 45+ students from schools across the south of Eng for a day of lectures, workshops and activities with U/G ambassadors.

@tinalien4 @moving_charlie Hi @tinalien4 Anywhere in red on the interactive map half way down this article is experiencing house price falls. NB: The interactive map is Land Registry data for the WHOLE OF ENGLAND AND WALES, not just Surrey (as implied by the title of the article) https://t.co/E2MmkpxXts

Just found this recent interesting #tephra paper proposing #climatechange forcing of Eifel region #volcanic eruptions and over the last 130,000 years. Worth a read. What do you think? https://t.co/cmpmfcgE8V
