Cool, so we’re totally going to fix the things that made affirmative action a plausible reaction to slavery and Jim Crow, right?
Much like Roe v. Wade, I’m interested in what this “better law” argument is…no, actually, I’m not.
@ChipotleTweets I’m stupid, sent the gift cert to an email that was one letter off, but why does your customer service leave me without any recourse? Can’t even get a real person to say I messed up:there’s nothing to be done. Definitely won’t waste my money on you in future.
And by that I mean, there wasn’t one moment or one decision that brought us to this page in this choose-your-own-adventure. A lot of pages were flipped, and the moral is

If Roe, if Casey…if Obergefell, Lawrence, Griswold, et al depended on one person, one woman, one fancy-collar-wearing lawyer-genius staying alive, then clearly the moral of that fairytale is obvious.

History 102:
-I feel like google might see a lot of suffragette vs. suffragist searches in the coming times.

Not an advocate, just fucking seriously invested in the answers.
The job of SCOTUS isn’t to represent us. It’s job is to represent our laws (which it still fucking failed at). So for those of you who do represent us, and do make the laws, stop fucking singing and do your fucking job.

If you’re against abortion, don’t get one.
If you’re against contraception, don’t take any.
If you’re against same-sex relationships, don’t have one.
If you’re against same-sex marriage, don’t marry someone of same gender.
Do not impose your beliefs & religion on all Americans.
I was 11 weeks pregnant. Or my body thought so. But the fetus was done doing it’s thing at 6 weeks. My D&C, which is an abortion, kept me safe and healthy. That’s my story. But any story should be any woman’s right. That’s healthcare, that’s equality, THAT is pro-life.
Because today’s decision effects my generation some, but it affects my daughter’s generation completely. I know my mom’s story, I’m going to learn my daughter’s. And my story shouldn’t be the exception.
Go team?!
When the UK government wasn’t up to the task of feeding hungry kids, football (soccer) player, Marcus Rashford, stepped in/up. When the US gov (again) proved it wasn’t up to protecting its children’s equality, Dick’s Sporting Goods stepped in/up. I’m not into sports, but fuck…
I’ve been reading stuff on pronouns and gender neutral addresses, and my unsolicited hot-take: we’ve all got to decide for ourselves what hill we die on, and, thank you on behalf of my child.
Columbine happened a year after I graduated high school. My daughter will be going to school for the first time come fall. In the last 20+ years, how have you parents been brave enough to send them off? I don’t know how to fucking do this.
