@AlanPeery@MikeWingerii The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom - Prov 9:10. I do agree that this fear is describing a respect and reverence and attributing the appropriate weighty-ness to God.
It’s an interesting and revealing thing that “progressive Christian” teaching so often exhibits little to no “fear of the Lord”, which is perhaps a crucial issue that is behind many undetected mistakes behind the reasoning that leads to those views.
@BrianEdwards__ “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.” Sorry to hear that brother, but rejoicing for the great reward that is yours in heaven
I'm just gonna say what we all been thinking...
@ChickfilA should have been running and managing all the polls and election ballots.
😳
We would already know who won and there would be no question about anything except can we have more Chick-fil-A sauce w/ it. 🤷🏾♂️
@FakeSermon Is it your personal conviction? Do it to the glory of God. But don’t bash other people because they don’t follow your convictions when it’s not even in scripture.
@FakeSermon Legalism is when someone takes their personal convictions (which are not clearly laid out in scripture) and acts like they are a command from scripture.
Regardless of what happens, God will be faithful to you.
“For the mountains may be removed & the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you & My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the LORD who has compassion on you.
