@wayneharrispfc As a goal scorer he's great, as a 10 to involve other forwards his game hasn't evolved to that YET.. but he's hungry, young and his first season in, nothing but improvement from here. Most probably starting 10 next season if we get a right winger. And he deserves it.
@GBPFC1984 Not really, saw the team and thought yeah why not let them have a go and prove themselves, nothing to lose. But either way.. they didn't get smashed so it's all irrelevant. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
@FFSChristie Proven himself in the championship, why let him leave and not have the budget to fill his position plus multiple other positions? The likelihood we sign a championship proven CM to replace him is low. More cons than pros to letting him leave.. should have dealt with it months ago
@Brooke_Smedley But I would argue on a small budget, there are far more problematic positions to replace, you don't want to add Dozzell as one of them.
@mrandrewmoon Not that it matters... Or has any influence on the result. But the ref is lucky the score line was what it was, that penalty decision was masked by it. If that's a penalty then the game has officially "gone".
@oaktowers@mrandrewmoon I 100% agree the recruitment team has done a poor job. Low budget yes but can't be wasting 1m+ on players who won't play when you have the budget we have.
@StronnerJack Segs shows he's a great finisher when he's in the position, a player you'd want to show up late in the box when you're wingers and strikers are firing on all cylinders, but not a play YET at the level to create for a struggling attacking side. I'd stick him up front if anything.
@StronnerJack Tbh mate Segs has been found out, I was a fan early on and still am, but he's too weak, only got 1 foot and can't carry the ball past a defender. He needs to come off the bench if anything in the 10 role. We miss Dozzell and we won't realise how much until he's back.
