@SERGIOPERERA0 @MartaCecilia36 This is true. But sometimes we really hit a grandslam with innovation. Having a deepdish in Chicago now. All other pizzas out to shame.

@JaxPeel Exactly how does it help the mansion owners? Its 250k exemption. Not 1million

[ray @CA_Ray_FL]

@ahoy_there_ @NoLimitGains That 15 mil could be become 1.5 billionn easily.

[ray @CA_Ray_FL]

@Cointuckeywind1 @Paula_Dockery You willing to kick homeowners out of their homes for a pickleball court?

[ray @CA_Ray_FL]

@Paula_Dockery Is there a limit to "fair share?" Sounds pretty subjective.

[ray @CA_Ray_FL]

@Paula_Dockery How else will we afford wide spread surveillance and subsidized housing???

[ray @CA_Ray_FL]

@JeffreyBrandes @FooteMiles I don't have a 3% mortgage.

[ray @CA_Ray_FL]

Here is antidote. I own and live in one of these "starter" homes. I can afford a much larger house. But i won't sell this and put it on the market and buy a more expensivr property. You know why? It is 100% about the tax liability.

I am not the only person in this situation.

You eliminate homestead property tax alltogether, I'll consider putting this home on the market.

Or I will find a county that doesn't threaten my homeownership every year for park improvements

[ray @CA_Ray_FL]

@SOSFLNOON3 Voting yes. Fuck off

[ray @CA_Ray_FL]

Personal anitdote: i have what some people might call a good "starter" home. Good for a small family that wants to own. I can afford a major upgrade. But i won't. You know why? My property tax will increase way more than i am comfortable with.

I am not the only person in this scenerio.

There is a good chance eliminating homestead property tax open up the market.
