@cagurujii Same has happened with me yesterday. What i observed is challan generated today with yesterday's date. You can try entering any challan number mentioning today's date and check status of challan. Lateron revise itr with correct challan details.(Personal View)

The portal is malfunctioning, preventing tax payments and the download of AIS/TIS.

This standard message reply by @IncomeTaxIndia is misleading and false.

Aadhar OTP failed: 7 PM
Client went back home after 2 hours: 8 PM
TRACES on uninformed upgradation: 9 PM

Thanks to @IncomeTaxIndia, this is the most arrogant behaviour I have seen against all tax professionals and taxpayers!

You released ITR Forms late.
You released ITR Utilities late.
ITR-6/7 Offline Utilities not released still.
Consistent errors in ITR Utilities (eg. CGAS error from last 3 days)
20+ due dates all cramming up in September.

When Infosys was late in releasing Utilities, you extended due date without us asking..
Now, when professionals demand extension, there is pin-drop silence from all corners...

Issue the extension notification TODAY!!
