It’s also dangerous to the public. The Legal Practice Council said he shouldn’t put himself out as a legal practitioner. For the court to give him TV time in full robes confuses unsuspecting people who might pay him.

In 2023, the LPC brought an application to declare Mr Teffo in contempt of court for appearing in court after he was struck off the roll of legal practitioners. For his contemptuous conduct, he was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 12 months(suspended).
