Algunas curiosidades sobre el idioma de Israel, la Tora, la Biblia y los rezos Judios:

El Hebreo.

• En sus comienzos se llamaba idioma "Judio" (Iehudi) y era el idioma de la Tierra de Judea (Iehuda).

• En epocas Biblicas no sabian leer con los puntos (que son las vocales).

• La puntuacion la inventaron los Masoretas que vivian en Tiberias la segunda mital del primer siglo D.E.C.

• La primera palabra que modernizo Eliezer Ben Yehuda, el padre del Hebreo Moderno, fue "Diccionario" (milon), antes era conocida como "Libro de Palabras" (Sefer Milim).

• Pero Haim Najman Bialik modernizo mas palabras que el mismo Ben Yehuda: 300 el primero y 220 el segundo.

• La palabra mas usada en el idioma Hebreo es "No" (lo). Luego le siguen "A" (et), "Kol" (todo), "Ein" (no hay), "Esto" (ze), "Ani" (yo) y los verbos "Ser o Estar" (haia) y "Decir" (amar).

• En Hebreo Antiguo no hay mayusculas, puntos y coma, ni numeros. En el moderno no existen las vocales ni las mayusculas. Se escribe de derecha a izquierda porque cuando se invento el idioma no existia la tinta. La letra latina se escribe de izquierda a derecha para no manchar la hoja (o el pergamino) mientras se escribia.

• El simbolo " - " (menos) no existe en Hebreo, lo correcto es hacerlo arriba y no en el medio. Muchos Judios tampoco usan el simbolo + por verse como una cruz y lo dibujan diferente.

• Las palabras Hebreas mas famosas usadas en otros idiomas son Amen y Aleluiah.

• Como no hay numeros en Hebreo (los hay en Arabe), usamos los numeros latinos y un rango de numeros se escribe de derecha a izquierda y eso confunde mucho la escritura y la lectura. El no tener vocales y mayusculas confunde en saber leer correctamente los nombres propios.

• Al comienzo del Estado, los politicos no solo dictaban leyes sino que eran los encargados de modernizar las palabras del Hebreo Antiguo, los mas destacados fueron el presidente Itzjak Ben Tzvi, el Primer Ministro Moshe Sharet y el Ministro David Remez.

• Muchas personas llegadas de Yemen y nacidos antes del Estado de Israel, saben leer al reves ya que al no haber tantos libros, se sentaban unos frente a otros y estudiaban de la misma pagina.

• La resurreccion del idioma Hebreo es un fenomeno mundial y lo que era para muchas generaciones un sueño, es para nosotros una realidad.
