@jerrythornton@bostonradio He is a Leo McGary not a president Bartlett. Invaluable number 2 working the details but not wired for the big picture, big spotlight and people managing. Not a knock. He’s living the dream and doing what he’s made to do.
@MikeFromWoburn I love his game day-to-day, but his playoff numbers from a decent size sample size scare me. I’m an early Gen X so I’m a believer that the investments should go to the guys that perform when the games get bigger. 46 was an example.
@_TyAnderson IMHO the only reason he is here is because of sent down his $ and possible potential gets him claimed and that’s a hit on Sweeney losing him for nothing. Not a hockey decision.
@burnsieoriginal@JP8830763240 Agree. Nice tilt with Kastelic the other night against my B’s. The early Gen X man in me hates that a bit like that is “unacceptable” 🙄
John Graham Mellor, better known professionally as Joe Strummer (d.2002), the co-founder, and lead singer of The Clash, would’ve turned 74 today. He is regarded as one of most dynamic and original stars of punk era.
“London Calling”(1979), of course.
