@Combat_learjet I have multi focal contact lenses and I love them. My vision was 20/15 for distance but reading was a problem. I gave up a little bit of distance but can read without any trouble. Driving at night is good too.

Thanks for the info! I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand I understand the FAA’s position but on the other hand I think I would rather have a pilot who can take meds for depression or ADD for example rather than trying to fight through it while still flying. Not sure what the best solution is.
