Was listening to a libertarian podcaster who lamented the reason why so many Americans are cynical of political institutions is because so many political pundits & politicians lie about American gov't. Then I realized libertarian politicians & pundits ALSO lie about American gov't.🙄

Instead of creating this story of a man who wasted every birthright & his father still took him in the prodigal son parable, why didn't Jesus preach a parable denigrating the rich father of the prodigal son? Answer: Because Jesus was against Jewish temple elite rich not all rich. Why did Jesus resurrect Lazarus if Lazarus' family was rich? And I may have mistaken Samaritans with Muslims, but Jesus didn't consider Samaritans good practicing Jews. That's why Jesus chose the Samaritan in the story. Because the rich, elite Jews passed the destitute son by until the Samaritan came along. In other words, a non-pracicing Jew in Jesus' opinion was more gratious than Jewish ruling temple elite.
