تحقيق صحفي إسرائيلي ينقل شهادات جنود بأن ضابطًا في الكتيبة 50 التابعة للواء ناحال أطلق النار على فلسطينية مسنّة وقتلها، رغم أن القوات كانت قد قررت إجلاءها من رفح.

بحسب الشهادات، كانت المسنة مريضة وضعيفة ولم تشكل خطرًا على الجنود، ولذلك تقرر نقلها إلى خارج منطقة القتال.

وضع جنود من لواء ناحال المرأة داخل مركبة عسكرية من طراز "هامر"، كانت ضمن قافلة لوجستية، وهي مكبلة ومعصوبة العينين، برفقة ثلاثة جنود.

أثناء الطريق، تلقى الضابط الذي كان يرافق الرحلة اتصالًا هاتفيًا، فأوقف المركبة وأنزل المرأة منها، ثم أطلق النار عليها وقتلها، قبل أن يواصل طريقه.

الضابط المقصود هو مناحيم "ماندي" ليسري، الذي كان يشغل في ذلك الوقت منصب نائب قائد الكتيبة 50 في لواء ناحال.

تربط شهادات أخرى اسمه بحادثة، كُشفت سابقًا، تتعلق باستخدام مسن فلسطيني يبلغ نحو 80 عامًا درعًا بشريًا في قطاع غزة.

بحسب التحقيق السابق، كان ليسري هو الضابط الذي أمر بربط فتيل متفجر حول عنق المسن، وأجبره على التقدم أمام الجنود وتفتيش المنازل، مهددًا إياه بتفجير رأسه إذا لم ينفذ الأوامر.

We are facing a massive environmental disaster in Gaza.

Tens of thousands of liters of sewage are being pumped directly into the sea. The sea here is completely polluted, and there is no infrastructure or equipment to properly dispose of or treat the wastewater.
