it's interesting that the response to an ad telling women it's safe for them to vote and their husbands won't know and the overwhelming response from the right has been "women shouldn't vote"
Liberals may be angry that the Supreme Court has made the unilateral decision to award the presidency to Trump, but they should at least take some solace in the fact that the Justices who made this decision have sterling academic credentials.

If my wife votes for Harris, I will leave her right now. As opposed to leaving her two years from now, when I swap her out for someone younger and hotter.

A century ago, Germany’s democracy was hijacked by a bombastic and charismatic tyrant — and in this five-minute video, you’ll learn how he did it. Why did I produce this? Because I believe that history is speaking to us, and all too often, those who refuse to learn from it are doomed to repeat it.
As you watch, imagine filling out a Bingo card filled with Germany 1933/USA 2024 parallels: big rallies, rage-filled and hateful rhetoric, simple answers promising quick and easy solutions to complicated problems, empty promises of a great-again future, scapegoating outsiders, and political enemies silenced on day one. And notice the caring wisdom and concern from my German friends as they share these lessons from their dark history.
It’s hard to understand how Trump could, on the eve of a tight election, paint a picture of Liz Cheney before a firing squad by actually saying, “Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK? And let’s see how she feels about it when the guns are trained on her face.” You can’t get into the mind of a dictator with an insatiable appetite for power — but you can recognize the playbook they all seem to follow.
Just watch this clip. It’s excerpted from my hourlong public television special “The Story of Fascism in Europe,” which is streaming free (and ad-free) at https://t.co/YA10kVH0V8. If you care about our democracy and love our country, it’s hard to stop watching.
When I produced this in 2018, I hoped this day would never come in our country. But November 5th is upon us. Please share this with anyone in your life who might need a reminder that the stakes are high...and this is very real.
For the educated middle-class suburban Haley voters:
-Your 401k is way up.
-Your home value is way up.
-Your wages are way up.
-New roads are being built.
-Crime is way down.
-Your kids are getting vaccines.
-Immigrants arent eating your pets.
Are you better off? Absolutely.
TRUTH: Senator JD Vance CALLED Social Security and Medicare “the biggest roadblocks to real fiscal sanity.” WE PAID FOR THEM! MY LIFE DEPENDS ON BOTH OF THESE PROGRAMS. IT IS OUR MONEY, WE PAID FOR THESE!! Reply with💙 if YOU AGREE & are voting BLUE!

The cowardly decisions by the billionaire owners of WaPo and the LATimes to withhold their newspapers’ endorsements of Kamala Harris for fear of losing favor with a future President Trump represent pathetic examples of bowing to tyranny without even waiting to be ordered around.
I canceled our subscription to the LA Times because I want to make it clear that I am not okay with them being silent. In dangerous times, honest people need to stand up. This is the only way to show I’m standing up.- mh

A decorated USMC veteran, General John F. Kelly has served the U.S. his entire life. In 2010 he lost his 29-year-old son First Lt Robert Kelly in combat in Afghanistan. If General Kelly says then President Trump referred to fallen GIs are “suckers” and “losers” I believe him.
The @nytimes has a live blog about Trump’s speech in Latrobe but it doesn’t even mention him talking about Arnold Palmer’s dick. Can you imagine the coverage if Biden said shit like that? It’s hard to avoid the conclusion that the NYT is actively working to help Trump.
