Wrote down how private payments on Solana work and what stays public ๐
Devnet only. Test funds. https://t.co/csymrtDj4a
@littleboyy_1 Private payments on Solana, built so apps can plug them in. Weโre working on an SDK that lets developers add private payments to their own product. Running on devnet now, with more coming tomorrow. Thanks for the follow!
Paying a contractor privately only works if they can still prove they got paid.
A cachemoney receipt proves one payment to whoever needs to see it, like a client or an accountant. No wallet, no key, nothing else shown.
BREAKING: @Schroders, one of the largest asset managers in the world, is bringing an emerging markets debt fund to Solana with @centrifuge.
Their first fund on Solana, and $1.1 trillion in assets under management behind it.
In 2017 using an app meant asking which chain it was on first. In 2026 you only need an email.
Today's chains are hiding themselves as payment companies and neobanks.
Tbh, what's the point of building in crypto if all a chain wants to be is a bank? https://t.co/na1Rmmz3wO
@LeonWgmii@primus_labs@allscaleio and even with the amounts hidden, one payroll wallet paying the same addresses every month is basically the org chart
Solana as the aggregation layer for everything. Love it.
But if the whole economy moves onchain it needs what the old one had by default: your payroll, suppliers and rent not public to everyone.
That's the piece we're building, @Backpack wallet integration is already there ๐ค
Armani Ferrante, CEO of @Backpack, on why Solana is becoming the aggregation layer for everything
โSolana has always been marching towards something much bigger than any single exchange. You could call it an API for all of finance, or a parallel economy and financial system. But I think the end state is Solana as the aggregation layer for everything."
"Itโs all about importing market structure. Not just crypto-native assets, but the entire economy, because the network effect is money.โ
@armaniferrante@KyleSamani
Building cachemoney taught us where the hard part of private payments on Solana really is: the plumbing.
Proofs, notes, payment safeguards, receipts.
So we're thinking bigger. The wallet stays. Next, we're opening up that plumbing so other apps can use it too.
Updated site soon ๐ค
Heads up: there are a few "cachemoney" tokens on Solana. None of them are us.
cachemoney has no token. Only trust @cachemoneyio and https://t.co/4T5Rc3ebsa
