@SirJessums I think a little bit of communications (and maybe better UI for players to communicate with each other) and a general etiquette of "host has final say" would go a long way.
But the players getting mad about minor stuff like this prolly wouldn't communicate well anyhow, i guess
sometimes i speak to myself with a hostility and cruelty i don’t even use for people i genuinely hate and i wonder if that’s doing any kind of long term psychological damage. surely not
it sucks that splatfests force you to play turf war and tricolour battle because those are like objectively the worst, most repetitive, most heavily luck based modes in the game and i never wanna play more than like three matches. but the entire fest is centred around them

Honestly mental illness sucks so much in the way that I just don't find it acceptable to expect any of my friends or family to be okay handling all my difficult issues at a moment's notice, at any hour of the day (since my depression doesn't stick to a convenient schedule)... 1
Idk why this blew up but if anyone ever needs a friend just to talk to, I'm here.
