Most of us have the wild type DNA with potential for psychic abilities, but controls without any psychic experiences or family history carry a mutation that turns it off.

He told Joe Rogan about the pilot DNA study, psychics from psychic families showed the common "wild type" sequence. Non psychics had an intron variant (non-coding epigenetic switch) in the TNRC18 gene that appears to suppress these abilities.

Radin notes: "The controls... they are the mutants. They're the ones who are not the wild types... most of us have some sign of psychic ability, most of us have at least the potential for having psychic ability."

A sociogenetic analysis found this suppressing variant more common in regions with long exposure to Christianity. Radin explains: "The Inquisition... was finding people, some of whom probably were talented psychically, and getting rid of them. So this was a gigantic genetics test in historical terms... a eugenics in an opposite direction where they weren't trying to pull people for talent but get rid of the talent. And you can see it in the genome."

I have heart surgery coming up next week and now understand why I’ve been so physically exhausted and out-of-sorts these past few months.
