Democrats discovered billionaires in politics were a threat to democracy the exact day one stopped writing them checks.
When Michael Bloomberg spent around $1 billion of his own money in the 2020 primary, then another $100M to help Biden in Florida, nobody called it an attack on democracy.
When George Soros put $125M into a single Democratic super PAC and became the largest political donor of the 2022 cycle, it was "civic engagement."
When Reid Hoffman, Dustin Moskovitz, JB Pritzker and Tom Steyer wrote eight- and nine-figure checks cycle after cycle, it was "saving democracy." When Bill Gates reportedly gave around $50M to a pro-Harris group in 2024, silence.
In 2020, dark money groups spent over $500M backing Democrats, more than double what went to Republicans. In 2024, Kamala Harris raised more than $1 billion in under three months. Democrats outspent Republicans and lost.
So the problem was never billionaires in politics. The problem is a billionaire who doesn't fund your side.
And here's what nobody in DC wants to say out loud: old billionaire money is quiet money. It funds the foundations, NGOs, think tanks and consultants that make up the permanent establishment. It doesn't challenge the system. It is the system. It freezes the picture: same insiders, same incumbents, same experts, every single cycle.
You can like or hate Musk's spending, but at least it's out in the open. If you really want money out of politics, start with your own party's donor list.
When the Japanese killed 3,000 service members in the attack on Pearl Harbor in response the United States deployed two nuclear weapons killing 550,000 Japanese, leaving radiation that killed many for several generations. You want to see Hiroshima? Leveled to the dirt? When the Luftwaffe bombed London killing 20,000 Brits in the battle for England, the Royal Air Force carpet bombed Dresden, Munich, and a dozen other cities killing 400-500,000 civilians. What die everyone call it? NOBODY called it genocide. It was war. But when the Jews defend themselves, cranks, moronic grifters and Jewish haters like you call it “genocide”.
Glad to help. Now go get a couple brain cells. And GFY
In the past, Ghana spent over 50 percent of its national revenue on servicing debt.
This left less money for schools, hospitals, roads and other essential infrastructure.
Today, I am proud to say that we have made significant progress.
We now spend less than 20 per cent of our revenue on servicing debt!
You own 3 homes. Have never had a real job in your life. Claim your wealth is from writing books. Fly on private chartered jets while claiming to fight climate change. Most people can’t live like you. That must change.
No problem.. Same way Felix carry Al Nassr win Saudi Pro League.
Make whoever wan carry Portugal sha give us this World Cup, even if it’s Tinubu, no wahala..
After we don win am, una go sabi who get the Portugal 😂
The reality some people hate to admit is that millions across Africa respect Donald Trump.
Much of the continent remains deeply socially conservative. His stance on religious freedom and his refusal to bow to Western liberal agendas, such as progressive gender policies, resonate profoundly with the core values of African communities.
Trump speaks the language of sovereignty and transaction. Many Africans favour his pragmatic approach to foreign policy and the strategic pivot from aid to trade. In fact, cutting aid wasn't a bad move, it was a long overdue recognition of African sovereignty.
Africans are tired of being treated like a global charity case. There should be business, deals, and mutual respect between Africa and the USA, not handouts.
Rational people would rather have the blunt truth than a beautiful lie that keeps Africa in the basement.
It is on days like this that I am particularly grateful to Donald Trump for having given up a life of luxury and comfort to lead the United States, because otherwise the survival of Western civilization would be in the hands of all these dreadful figures, and that would not end well.

@BasedMikeLee According to the latest IRS data (tax year 2022), the top 1% of taxpayers paid 40.4% of all federal individual income taxes.
The top 10% paid 72.0%.
The bottom 50% paid just 3.0%.
David Hundeyin currently supports these guys while also denying the genocidal activities of terrorists in Nigeria. He was supposed to be a good journalist but man became fat and so came his decline. 💔
Pan Africanist but you hardly mention Sudan's war like the Iran war. Islamist jihadists terrorize innocent Africans but your concern is justifying Russia's war on Ukraine. Most Africans have very poor living standards but you rather romanticize China invading Taiwan. Clowns 😂
Iranian president Hassan Rouhani married his cousin when he was 20 and she was 14. Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf married his wife when he was 21 and she was 14. These are the people constantly screaming about Epstein and pretending to be shocked by pedophilia...
Good evening from the Coconut Tree
@KamalaHarris
Ma’am, (can we call you Ma'am?) we’ll keep this factual and review your actual record, not your reboot.
As a U.S. Senator (2017-2021), you were an original cosponsor of the Green New Deal resolution (S.Res. 59).
It directed the US to “divest from fossil fuels,” phase out oil, gas, and coal production and remake the entire economy around subsidized green mandates.
Your 2020 campaign was shorter than a Garden Gnome but managed to work in these gems:
You told the CNN town hall:
“There’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.”
On Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show:
“We will end fracking once and for all” while committing to the Green New Deal.
Your $10 trillion climate plan called for no new fossil fuel leases on federal lands, phasing out all oil & gas (even if renewables weren’t ready), a carbon fee, and doubling U.S. payments to the UN Green Climate Fund.
Before that, as California Attorney General (2011-2017), you built a reputation suing our industry.
The lawfare you pursued laid the foundation for the collapse of the California refining industry we are witnessing right now
You even sued the Obama-Biden administration to block new offshore permits off California’s coast.
Remember 2022?
As VP, national gas prices hit $5+/gallon (over $6 in parts of CA).
You told Americans those record prices were “a price to pay for democracy” for Ukraine.
But apparently the freedom of millions of Irainian citizens are not worth $3.97 a gallon now?
That seems - I don't know - selective?
Bottom line.
California still pays the nation’s highest gas prices — thanks to the taxes, mandates, and anti-production policies you championed for years.
Flying cross country (made possible by jet fuel) to North Carolina to make a video isn't going to change that.
And those are the facts - unburdened by what has been.
I genuinely don’t know whether to laugh or lose my mind anymore at this European hypocritical double standards.
When it comes to Vladimir Putin, suddenly it’s Churchillian resolve. No compromise. No dialogue. Arm Ukraine to the teeth, sanction everything that moves, wreck your own energy security if necessary - because tyranny must be confronted.
Fine. I actually respect the consistency of that … in isolation.
But then you turn around and lecture us - us - the Gulf monarchies, Jordan and Israel, about showing restraint with Tehran? About dialogue? About coexistence?
Are you serious?
For forty years - forty bloody years - this regime has been waging a shadow war across the region. Militias, proxies, sleeper cells, terror networks, destabilizing entire countries - Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen - and threatening the Gulf monarchies, Jordan, and Israel nonstop.
This isn’t theoretical. This isn’t abstract. This is lived reality.
And yet here come Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, and the rest of the European choir, gently advising us to calm down, de-escalate, and - what was it again? - “give diplomacy a chance.”
Diplomacy with who, exactly? With a system that has built its entire regional strategy on plausible deniability and proxy terror violence?
You were willing to absorb inflation, energy shocks, and political backlash at home to confront Moscow. You made that choice. You said: this is the price of standing up to a tyrant.
So don’t come here and tell us - after decades of being on the receiving end - that we should just sit down, smile politely, and “coexist.”
Either you believe in confronting tyranny everywhere .. or you don’t.
Macron, Starmer, rest of EU leaders and top bureaucrats should just STFU and spare us the self righteous sanctimonious lectures!🤐🤫
But Nigerians shouldn't talk about it because they rebuild roads. You people are so morally bankrupt that nobody gives a flying fuck about what you think
