@CvilleHoosier@ReallyOldLife Syllogisms that Peter, John, Paul, nor the Lord Christ would accept and in fact did not include in Scripture or even in necessary consequences.
@WVPitt I really dislike a preacher on the Lordโs Day in the pulpit, wearing a gown that has the doctoral bars on the sleeves. Wear a gown when preaching, itโs no biggie to me 1 way or other, but No academic markings in the pulpit.
@RefClassicalist@LordTemplar1 The conversation is magistrate should promote Christianity as true religion. Thatโs where those verbs came from. Different issue to note with WCF 23.2 that Christians may hold civil office - Iโm not advocating anabaptist withdrawal
@BringePeter Iโm saying I donโt find in Gospels, Acts, Epitles or Apocalypse warrant for this silly syllogism that seeks civil government privileging Christianity. The Apocalypse pointedly presents world empire/Babylon as not a friend to the saints.
@LordTemplar1@RefClassicalist Pre-20th century views are not to be confused with Apostolic or NT teaching on nations. Quite simply there is no NT brief that requires seeking political control or temporal power.
IndigoRebellion June 2nd. Larvae that blue-gray sky after the rain paused. War spread is 58, with War Baby is 13 and War Daddy (YHC) is 71 @F3Charleston@F3nation
@spanglermt@elimcgowan Prov 26:24-26
Whoever hates disguises himself with his lips and harbors deceit in his heart;
when he speaks graciously, believe him not,
for there are seven abominations in his heart;
though his hatred be covered with deception, his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.
@AKofiCup Proverbs 26:4-5
Answer not a fool according to his folly,
lest you be like him yourself.
Answer a fool according to his folly,
lest he be wise in his own eyes.
