🗣️“I wasn’t qualifying for the Olympics today, for me this was more about conquering my own self doubt that I could compete with those guys. And that’s what I did. I kept saying ‘Just keep fighting. Don’t give an inch. If you die, that’s okay, just fight all the way to the end. Show people that you belong in that conversation.”

The soon to be father of two talks about his bittersweet fourth place finish in his second-ever 10,000m race (27:53.35).

“I raced my hardest and did everything that I could. There’s nothing I look back on and am disappointed about, other than not getting top three. But that’s okay, I’ve got a good life.”
