USC has attendance problems and it’s not cuz of the weather. USC was obviously the standard in the late 2000s and had no attendance issues. Ever since Pete Carroll who had seven 10+ win seasons they have had four 10+ win seasons with Lane Kiffin, Clay Helton, and Lincoln Riley.

USC #1 vs Idaho (2007)
7:15pm PST and 91,00 in attendance

USC #4 vs SJSU (2009)
12:30pm PST and 84,300 in attendance

USC #1 vs Hawaii (2012)
4:30pm PST and 93,500 in attendance

USC #8 Idaho (2015)
5pm PST and 72,500 in attendance

USC #7 vs Fresno St (2022)
4:30pm PST and 67,200 in attendance

USC #25 vs Michigan St (2025)

USC does not have an attendance problem because of the weather. The demand has declined year over year even if they have Caleb Williams playing. Even if the CFP was a 12 team playoff since the inception they have only finished in the top 12 three times since 2014. I want USC to be good and maybe them being exposed for attendance failures vs SJSU helps them in the end. CFB is better when USC is involved where you can hear 90k fans screaming and hearing Fight On before a 3rd down defensive stop. I hope Southern California shows up for them. I hope the colosseum is full.
