Building a FiveM server from scratch sounds clean until you're 6,000 lines deep into a custom MDT system and realize your dispatch alerts need to talk directly to the officer's tablet in real time.

That's where we're at with Storyforge RP right now. Working on wiring dispatch calls straight into the MDT so when a 10-80 goes out, every cop on duty sees it pop on their screen without someone having to type it into a terminal manually.

The MDT itself is built out with police, EMS, judge, lawyer, and DOJ departments. Each one has its own tabs, its own access roles, its own workflow. A police officer sees their dashboard. A judge sees their queue of pending warrants and subpoenas with approve/deny buttons. Lawyers see their clients and case notes.

Still in development but it's getting close. Custom features that I think will rival some of the big servers when it's done.
