Following the Welsh Government’s decision to place the county borough of Caerphilly under a local lockdown from 18:00 BST on Tuesday, Cadw can confirm that Caerphilly Castle will be closed from Wednesday 9 September until further notice.

Cadw Monument Pass holders will need to reserve a free ticket in advance of their visit to their local heritage site. To gain entry, Monument Pass holders must also remember to bring their pass with them as proof of identity.@cadwwales
