What assets are we accumulating? How do they reflect our priorities? How many of them are related to the people and relationships that we claim are most important?
A lot of people are walking around seeing and ignoring problems. Or worse, they’re seeing problems and complaining!
When you see something that needs to be done, take the initiative to do it.
Monday morning:
Take a few minutes and get clear on your goals. Clarify and document the actions to move them forward. Then put your plan to work and see what happens.
Planning, for most people, is not fun. It’s boring to translate ideas into the next actions that move them forward, and it’s usually even less fun to actually do those actions.
But isn’t that approach so much better than just being jerked around by life?
