@ovo_greg I’m very versatile not just a “drill” producer ask any of my peers. And that’s good for them I hope they’re making a living out of it because the business side is brutal trust me.
@Dipolygabana Then when you do get paid out for royalties most of the time you don’t even get paid on time or consistently with labels taking months or years to even pay you.
I’ve been in the game for 10+ years and there’s so many more things I could list this is only the surface level.
@Dipolygabana Producers often get lowballed when it comes to royalties while the artists/labels get the majority of it.
It’s become more oversaturated than it’s ever been before so there’s less quality control.
That 808 really did change the game! So many producers wish they could recreate that signature sound @czrbeats perfected. I still hear it echoing through tracks today. Pioneers rarely get the flowers they deserve in the industry while everyone's busy copying.
