@KateByroade@SaraSchon I respectfully disagree. I think sharing what you feel are your incompatibilities is helpful for people to understand the breakup and in some cases give them an opportunity for self reflection. Obviously this shouldn’t be delivered as a list of wrongdoings, ever.
Disney's classic 'dark phase', begun with The Black Hole, continued in fine style with THE WATCHER IN THE WOODS (1980). The drowning scene still makes me cringe, and the original ending goes into full cosmic horror territory...
HOW TO THINK ABOUT QUALITY IN CLOTHING 🧵
There have been a lot of discussions here recently about clothing quality. Many have involved oversimplifications, exaggerations, and sometimes misinformation. So here's a thread on how to think about quality in clothing.
A brilliantly gross image of a fly infected by the endoparasitoid fungus cordyceps.
The fungus keeps the host alive as long as possible and directs the animal to climb to a prominent exposed perch where spores are released

Here’s a helpful tip for dealing with stress.
Few people would argue the fact that you can go from calm, to stressed, instantly.
However, if you suggest they can also go from stressed, to calm, just as quickly, they’ll furrow their brows in a look of “No way!”
They doubt that, because they just have a LOT more practice going from calm to stressed quickly, than they do going from stressed to calm.
Sit down in a chair. Now, raise your arm in front of you. Then, suddenly, let it drop and go loose, limp and relaxed like an old sock.
Now, do both arms.
See, you CAN relax every muscle in your body…instantly.
Now, pretend like you just got zapped by some wild “Ray gun” by some Alien being; one that causes your eyes to close and every muscle in your body to go limp. Then, just stay like that for about 10 seconds. Do this now.
Here’s the thing. You can’t stay stressed at a high level when you allow your body to do this.
Furthermore, it will take some work, after you have, to get back to the previous state of stress.
It’s physiology baby! Loose and limp muscles simply don’t compute as stress in the brain. It interrupts the system.
Enjoy!
Hi there! I wrote a review on promoting cooperative behavior for the benefit of individuals and societies, covering research in both iterated and one-shot games.
I hope you'll find it useful!
Thank you so much for your interest. You can download it here: https://t.co/5g6cdnDo1B

@fathercereal @LunaMuriel13 I’ve had one for over 20 years and had no idea! I thought it was just a handle so you didn’t prick your fingers picking it up 😂
@NatashaOBrien87@Amanda_Vickery Costume designers probably do understand it. I feel like it’s more to do with the fetishisation of corsets… a bit like garter belts, which logically are never worn OVER knickers- how would women go to the bathroom? Yet, it’s rare to see knickers over garters on screen.
