@spotted_model AP1 in 2016 really read and followed signs. Once it read 55 as 5, that was annoying.

But Tesla AP/FSD does not seem to respond to them. I keep wondering if it’s protected under some Mobileye patent?

Titus Canyon in Death Valley NP is 27 miles rated high clearance 2wd. I moved a few rocks to get the stock Model 3 through.
Glad it’s on the Nav, even if it did goof some slope. 😁

It’s a trait I want to watch since I value truthfulness.
I think embracing uncertainty is a great thing.

Mobile service recently added the tow package to my Model Y. Lights tested OK at that time.

This weekend I tried to use it for the first time. It didn’t even register the red trailer indicator, acted like no trailer was plugged it an all!

So I pulled out my magnetic trailer lights and plugged them in, it all worked perfectly.

Moral of the story: never trust boat trailer lights. ;-)

Loving the first rev of my “Fake Door Closers.”

They let the car sleep in Low Power Mode with the doors open. Used to lose ~0.2 miles of ideal range every time I opened a door, more if I left them open. Now the car sleeps all day and night.
STL files will be free for 3D printing when I get home.

Has anyone scientifically comparison tasted refrigerators for the Model Y subtrunk?

Temperature regulation and spread, capacity, efficiency and sound levels all are important metrics.

At 30L this was the largest I found at the time that fit with minor modifications. But, as feared, it has poor insulation, runs continuously on a 90 deg day with poor temperature spread despite a fridge fan.

I might rebuild it more efficiently, but would rather buy quality that’s tested in desert use.

My trusty Engle 42 is very good, but a poor physical fit.

Exactly.
Also I’m in the desert, cooking out of the kitchen in the rear hatch and sleeping inside the car with windows partially open and one door open. I’m relaxing under a shade cloth attached to the rear hatch.
I’ll get to the nearest charger with 20%, as long as I don’t lose any juice during the week here.
