Arte Moreno’s disastrous run owning the Angels is finally coming to an end.
Now it’s John Fisher’s turn.
Fisher didn’t just “move” the A’s out of Oakland. He systematically dismantled the franchise, alienated generations of fans, and helped force one of baseball’s most historic teams out of the city it called home for more than 50 years.
He should not get to walk away from that without consequences.
Oakland A’s fans deserve accountability.
Baseball deserves accountability. And John Fisher needs to be held accountable, NOW.
Enough excuses. Enough enabling.
It’s time to make sure John Fisher is the next owner baseball forces out.

@Uber I made a reservation two weeks ago to the airport. The reservation was assigned to a driver days before. Then the driver dropped the ride less than an hour before pick up with no notification leaving me stranded with no ride. Terrible service!
Senator Padilla was forcibly removed from DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s press conference in Los Angeles while attempting to ask a question.
Padilla was thrown down and handcuffed. A senator in his own state! (He has since been released.)
The Trump regime is out of control.
Every viewer of the tape heard Senator Padilla identify himself. He's the ranking Democrat on the Senate Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Safety. We're supposed to believe that Homeland Security secretary Noem did not recognize him?
@scottostler who owns the Oakland Coliseum? Are the city of Oakland and Alameda County co-owners? Do the A’s still own half? Or is AASEG the sole owner of the Coliseum now?
@susanslusser Thanks for asking Tony about the A’s and the Sacramento facility. I appreciate you continuing to cover this situation and asking the needed questions.
