@drianpace I don't think it's the same. Ethnicity is about boundaries; it was traditionally possible to cross the boundary, for instance through marriage, conversion etc (where the receiving community absorbed new member). But you either have an illness or disabling condition or you don't.

On July 13, a Muslim graveyard in Mostar was defaced with swastikas and a severed pig’s head left on its grounds. Today, we learn that a similar incident has occurred at a Muslim graveyard in Livno, which has been defaced with Ustasha graffiti.

Much has been written about Serb nationalist extremism in Bosnia. But too little attention has been paid to similar patterns of Croat nationalist extremism, which also target Bosnia’s majority Bosniak community, but also its historic Jewish population.

The cynical hysterics of the HDZ authorities in Zagreb and Bosnia cannot be permitted to halt collective efforts to tackle this very real, and growing problem.

My supervisor, a top scholar in his field, retired without reaching professor status; my second supervisor took 20 years to become professor

I work with students w reasonable adjustments, who come from poor neighbourhoods and broken families, and keep their heads down bc they don't think anyone will believe them, and I can see how some extrapolate to smear them collectively.

@drianpace I work with students with disabilities. We put reasonable adjustments in place but they are expected to produce an output at the same level of quality as their peers. Having said this, it's true that some students with (and without) disabilities are often let down by supervisors
