I am experiencing a critical identity theft issue on FACEIT, but I cannot find an official to resolve it. When verification was first launched, it only required an ID photo without face matching, and a random stranger verified my ID on their account. In Türkiye, personal data is unfortunately leaked everywhere; anyone can access someone’s ID for just 3 or 4 dollars. Now, my main account (2,900 Elo, 3,000 Elo last season) is flagged as a smurf. I am a professional player with an e-sports license. Despite stating that I can provide government-approved residency and ID documents—which I haven't attached yet but can provide immediately—I was told I must wait for the thief’s whim to delete the account and then wait another 6 months. It takes only 5 seconds to check HWID logs to see I never accessed that account. Please help me. @FACEIT_Darwin
If you could use your brain a little, you would see I already received an answer regarding this in the ticket. I was told that if the person who stole my identity doesn't verify within a week, I can get it back after 6 months. But since you are commenting without doing any research, you fail to even think about this.
I can't wrap my head around this situation either. If I were someone who doesn't play FACEIT or participate in professional tournaments, selling my ID might make sense—but my 3,000 Elo account is being flagged as a smurf. If there is no immediate solution for the ID issue, Mr. Darwin, at least allow me to join unverified matches as I was doing just a week ago. Please don't take away my ability to play on my main account.
@Barryallens4 faceit doğrulaması ilk cıktığında fotoğraf vs istemiyordu sadece kimlik resmi istiyordu büyük ihtimal o zaman biri kimliğimi bir yerde bulup doğrulamış kendi hesabına şuan ben kendi hesabımı doğrulayamıyorum kendi kimliğimle
