I see Heupel getting fired as inevitable. Won’t happen this year but it will be deserved when it does.
I do not see a point in investing any further in this staff in its current makeup.
The #1 way to stay a mid tier program is to give a head coach slack for how bad a program was when they took over. I don’t care what we did a half decade ago, that was unacceptable what I saw tonight.
All of the goodwill from beating Florida is gone btw. Nobody will remember that now, we’ll just remember getting run ruled by Vandy at home. Embarrassing.
Year 5 of the Heupel era and we’re arguing between Miss St, Kentucky, Florida & Arkansas for our biggest win of the season…that’s pretty damn embarrassing.
The Vols got dismantled by Vanderbilt. In Neyland Stadium.
If that doesn’t force some significant self-reflection and a myriad of questions needing to be asked, and answered, by this head coach and staff… nothing will.
Vanderbilt is the oldest team in the SEC. Tennessee is the youngest. It’s a big reason why I picked Vandy to win.
But getting dominated in your own stadium needs to send a message to everyone involved with Tennessee Football that this is not good enough. Never waste a loss.
10% talent fee to watch 3 losses in Neyland and our “talented” defense take it up the ass to Vanderbilt. Someone is getting fired for this, mark my words. Josh Heupel or Danny White will not have a say in it
When you let a guy run his mouth and then come in your house and do this to you, that's a really bad look.
Gotta call it what it is. It's a really, really bad look.
