Brilliant minds, 3 minutes, one shot!
The #3MT (Three Minute Thesis) finalists at #IPParis amazed us with their clarity, passion, and research.
Congrats to all the participants... And the organizers!!! 👏
Fields Medalist Cédric Villani is now delivering the closing presentation at the Claude Bardos conference at @CentraleSupelec. A fitting conclusion to an inspiring and celebratory birthday event.
The conference in honor of Claude Bardos is happening now at @centralesupelec
A great moment to celebrate his remarkable contributions to mathematics — and to wish him a very happy 85th birthday!

Just tried #DeepSeek --pretty impressive and fascinating.
Yet, not all history lessons are created equal…
Tiananmen Square? Let's change the subject.
Paris Commune? Let me give you a complete lesson.

@CentraleSupelec offers two bachelor programs alongside our renowned engineering degree. Today, students from our joint Bachelor of Engineering with @McGillU tackle the Egg Drop Challenge: designing a cost-effective device to safely drop an egg on target from the 2nd floor.
THE 2024 SHANGHAI RANKING Consultancy has published its Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) for 2024 ! 🏆
#UPSaclay was ranked 12th in the world & 3th in Europe, confirming the university’s position as a world-class research intensive university.
For the first time, the Olympic Flame shines without fuel, thanks to @EDFofficiel. Powered by electricity, it flickers through a mist cloud and light beams. This achievement shows how engineering, mathematical modeling, and design can achieve remarkable outcomes. #Paris2024#Math
The Olympic caldron took to the skies over Paris in a tethered balloon in Tuileries garden, echoing Henri Giffard’s 1878 feat. Turns out Giffard learned engineering with @centralesupelec lectures. 🌟🎈 #Paris2024#History#Engineering
On June 1, @CentraleSupelec honored Guy Flavien, a WWII hero who started his engineering studies at Centrale Paris. His journey was tragically interrupted when he was deported. Guy Flavien's diploma was presented to his family in a moving ceremony #RememberingHeroes#MemorialWeek
Today and tomorrow will take place the second Azat Miftakhov days, in support of this student of the Hadamard doctoral school of mathematics of the @UnivParisSaclay. Azat is detained in Russia since 2019.

As associate editor of the journal Smart Material and Structures, I am very pleased that the impact factor is now 4.13 (up from 3.87 last year and 3.58 in 2020).
Thanks to all our contributors!

Congratulations to the @centralesupelec rowing team for winning the French college championship last Saturday!
At the top in engineering, math and sports!
The Péclet Number (Pe) measures the relative importance of advection versus diffusion in fluid dynamics. It is named after the French physicist Eugène Péclet. His statue is in the lobby of @centralesupelec as Péclet was one of the co-founders of Centrale Paris in 1829.
Thinking of Azat Miftakhov, honorary mathematics student of our university @UnivParisSaclay, still imprisoned in Russia on unfounded charges.
Azat is turning 29 today.

The final exam will take place on March 31 from 9:30am to 12:30pm simultaneously on our Paris-Saclay and Metz campuses. I will make sure to post the test here in the afternoon for our non-CentraleSupélec students who took the course who want to have a look.
The course on partial differential equations ended today. Thanks to the 921 first-year students of @centralesupelec who took this course. I know it's a required course, but thanks anyway...
I understand that we also have a number of students who took the video lectures outside of @centralesupelec using https://t.co/UDflYa331v I hope you also enjoyed the course and the PDEs.
