@techAU @wholemars FSD lite would use the same tech but limit actions to just adaptive cruise control and lane keeping, no lane changes or turns. I agree with him, having a smoother autopilot experience using the new neural networks would bring a lot more confidence for those without FSD.

@techAU Camera position on the front bumper? The projection headlights? Making it be a light bar instead of normal headlights? Those three changes might sound simple but in an industrial prototype design they need to be re-tested for a bunch of requirements and then built.
