“what would have been the most high-profile and controversial disciplinary case since Pontius Pilate decided he was going to finish up early for the Easter hols…” - Brilliant @TommyMartinVM 👏
Beautifully evocative words here from @jack_madden2001 on Sunday's Ulster final.
"...so there won't be a drop of diesel laundered, a pound of butter smuggled, nor a mushroom picked. Border country, bandit country, Jason Duffy's grandda Big Tom and his statue in Castleblayney town, merging into the abandoned barracks of Crossmaglen..."
Banjo by Iarla McMahon and current Monaghan star Bobby McCaul.
"From the moment a family contacts the KBRT and asks for help, the trust takes over - undertakers, funeral homes, post mortems, paperwork, flights.
"The bits of reality that keep a family from processing its grief, Colin and Eithne Bell knew the weight but put their hands out to carry it anyway.
"To know precisely how acute that pain is and put your own feelings second behind a family that you don’t know on the other end of the phone is an incredible act of humanity."

@IWCare Funny that, water in our area is actually off since 5:50pm yesterday. No notice given. Areas included in a notice listed on your website are still on. No one received any notice despite already being signed up to your text alert service.
Harsh reality is we didn't deserve to win that game, a very poor 2nd half cost us.
Some players need to look at themselves and the decisions they make with their careers, we cannot afford to pick players that aren't playing regularly and aren't fully fit.

“Pause” is not good enough.
“Pause” is not reassurance for families and children.
“Pause” is not respect the invaluable role of our colleagues.
