But here, she was, in my view, deeply out of line.
What’s more egregious is that right now, courageous students in Iran are risking their lives protesting a murderous regime in universities, and this is receiving hardly any coverage at all.
Another example of our public discourse obsessing over the wrong things.
The PM refers to Grace Tame as ‘difficult’ and the knives are out with cries of ‘misogyny!’
Could the word have been better chosen? Maybe, maybe not.
The PM calling Grace Tame, a woman fighting for the safety of children, “difficult” is completely unwarranted.
Labelling women as difficult won’t silence us. It won’t stop us speaking truth to power.
Next time try “unbreakable” or “warrior” or “fierce”, Prime Minister.
Given that, two weeks ago, she stood on the steps of Sydney Town Hall and incited a chant of ‘Globalise the Intifada’, I think it’s a defensible description.
I would have said ‘problematic’, given her superb advocacy in other spaces, notably against sexual assault.
#MohammadHosseinShokri 16 years old, from Naziabad, Tehran, is a child laborer who worked as a street corn seller to support his family.
He was arrested by the IRGC during public protests.
⚠️ Reports indicate he has received—or is facing—an execution sentence. A child. A worker. Facing death.
🚨 Urgent international action is needed NOW. Silence kills!
The Islamic regime in Iran is arresting, torturing, slaughtering Iranian citizens! . It is a systematic crackdown by a regime against its own population. The world needs to recognize the reality of what is being done to us! 💚🤍💔
Be his voice! Be his voice! #IranMassacre #IranRevolution2026
Look at how the Muslim Nazis are going after Iranian university students.
It's October 7 every day in occupied Iran.
How are unarmed Iranians supposed to defend themselves against this level of brutality?
Shame on anyone who doesn’t support a humanitarian intervention.
Students Tear Apart the Regime’s Flag in Tehran.
Today, Monday, on the third day of nationwide student protests in Iran, students at Alzahra University in Tehran tore down the flag of the Islamic Republic. As they attempted to set it on fire, they chanted “Death to the Islamic Republic,” before ripping it apart and trampling it under their feet.
The Islamic Republic killed more than 40,000 people in just two days to instill fear. Today, these people and these students stand braver, stronger, and more determined than ever.

This is little 11-year-old Roham Barjesteh. He was murdered by the Islamic regime in Iran. There is no hell hot enough for the terrorists that killed him, and who continue to destroy that wonderful country and its people.
Dear compatriots, Iran stands on the threshold of a great and historic transformation.
The determining factor remains the will and conscious action of the Iranian people.
It is we who must play our own key role at the right moment.
We must not allow scenarios that violate the national will to be imposed on our country.
On this path, the role of military, law‑enforcement, security forces, and government agencies is decisive.
In Iran’s National Sun and Lion Revolution, many honorable forces defied their repressive orders and stood with the people.
Reliable reports show that many police and army units refused to use their weapons against the people.
Instead, the regime deployed undercover agents, Basij forces, the IRGC, and foreign mercenaries to carry out the massacres.
These efforts included exposing documents and images of the killings, identifying the perpetrators, returning the bodies of the fallen, and aiding detainees.
Defectors from the bureaucracy and state institutions helped medical staff in establishing underground clinics.
Yet, it is clear that the numbers and resources of these forces remain limited compared to the regime’s machinery of repression.
And to create a balance of power, international humanitarian intervention is essential.
Now that the likelihood of such intervention is higher than ever, military and law‑enforcement commanders—especially within the national army—must recognize their decisive role.
A limited window remains for officials whose hands are not stained with the blood of the people to separate themselves from the criminal regime. The choice is yours:
By joining the people, save your lives and your families and take part in the nation’s victory.
Or tie your fate to the sinking ship of the Islamic Republic and go down with Khamenei and his regime.
In this new phase of the National Cooperation Campaign, I invite you—during the live broadcast of the newly established Iran National Revolution TV to scan the campaign QR code to connect directly with my team dedicated to this project. Trial broadcasting of this network has recently begun on Yahsat satellite.
The fate of Iran depends on the decisions we make today.
With responsibility and courage, we can forge a new chapter in the history of the Iranian nation.
Long live Iran.
Damn.
Iranians are chanting "This is the final battle, Pahlavi will return" right into the faces of basijis.
This is something that can easily get them killed.
Courage off the charts.
A voice from inside Iran.
“Do you think we let 40,000 people die just so things go back to normal?”
To everyone in the West: these are the voices to listen to.

This statement by Reza Pahlavi is very measured and sensible. Most notably, he asks his supporters not to "take your eyes off the main goal" (the downfall of the regime) and to "avoid any behavior unworthy of the great Iranian nation."
