Can I please ask why campaigning against 1) the illegal killing of raptors 2) illegal fox hunting 3) pesticides which are human carcinogens 4) poor animal husbandry and 5) a scientifically invalid badger cull makes me an ‘enemy’ of the countryside ? Just plain weird .
Good morning . I’ve been sickened by smashed ‘hedgerows’ for years but I think this one may be the worse . . . how can anyone actually think that this an acceptable way to treat a valuable part of our countryside ? I’d like to flail their front room .
Absolutely shocking!!! We have had a spate of new house building on nearby farmland, and the developers have had the cheek to name the roads after the birds they have evicted🙁
Legal ? Does it really matter . It’s so utterly abhorrent that I feel sick . What has become of us ? What has become of the agencies who should protect life from this ? Is everything spent ? In the hope not if I were there I’d rip those nets down . Do it .
@HighwaysSEAST@EastSussexCC@esccroads They told me it is @wealdendistrict responsibility. Have retweeted to them, but no response yet. My return journey along this road was just as bad - more like landfill than major road... Shocking!
@esccroads@HighwaysSEAST Just travelled eastbound along Polegate bypass from Cophall roundabout. Shameful amount of rubbish littering both sides. Maybe a rubbish lorry has had a bit of a moment? Horrified to think it has all been dumped from passing cars!!! #plasticpollution 😡

Why oh why do people persist in picnicking in a beautiful spot and then leaving all their crap for @LewesDC to clear up! This is in the field adjoining the @cliffebonfire site.
It’s not every day you’re on the way back from the pub & spot your spacecraft being unloaded off the back of a lorry! Thanks to the staff working late tonight @NtlMuseumsScot to prepare the Soyuz for tomorrow’s opening in #Edinburgh 🏴
Welcome 'home'. The #Orcas in Bressay Sound, #Shetland this morning were the '64s' group with the bull 'Busta' (animal #032) in attendance. This is the first time we've seen them in our waters since late January 2018 and this is the same pod recorded in the Clyde two weeks ago.
And here , neatly and concisely outlined, is one significant aspect of the human disease , the grotesque need to kill for no reason - it’s ugliness beyond compare . And it’s still alive in 2018 . But not for long now . https://t.co/QRhBeRAQVw
Get up , get dressed , go out and fall in love with nature . And don’t forget the kids , if they don’t connect they will never commit to make a difference . Fall in love with life - all life . @CotswoldOutdoor https://t.co/xxhxs6axi7
Yesterday saw the first large arrival of Puffins this year, with migrants including 5 Goldcrests and a Yellowhammer. With strong SE winds and rain overnight, it will be interesting to see what's waiting to be found today...
