📢 Building a shell replacement is a lot of work, and significant R&D has gone into making Cairo a viable shell alternative. That’s why we are releasing ManagedShell: A library for creating Windows shell replacements using .NET, based on Cairo. https://t.co/VM6IyIOMN5
@tofutech1 That does look nice 👀 We do not currently have a user-created theme repo, but we do have plans for one. If you would like, you may open an issue in our issue tracker (https://t.co/QfyMv7jInf) with your theme attached so we can be sure to add it when the solution is ready.
@TwistedZeon Thanks for the report! You can track resolution here: https://t.co/5LIZi42d4z
Regarding the system tray icon issue, what apps are you having that problem with? Did the issue persist after a logoff/logon?
@nit_witless We have support for showing Cairo's menu bar and taskbar on the primary display, or on all displays. Currently there is no way to use the Windows taskbar on only one monitor, but you can disable Cairo's taskbar altogether.
@brekcut The next update will have support for wallpaper on all monitors! Wallpaper Engine has not been tested, but we do have built-in video wallpaper support.
Cairo’s taskbar has learned some new tricks: thumbnails, progress bars, improved autohide, and more! Check for updates or visit our website to grab the latest version. https://t.co/V7Inzx5jca
We have just released a new version with a ton of new features and reliability improvements! Check for updates from the Cairo menu, or check out our web page to download: https://t.co/sOgJfqbsOy
@DIOGOTC1 There is not currently, but if you have one to share, we’d love to see it! We may add a themes repository on GitHub to allow easier theme discovery and sharing in the future.
